I would appreciate feedback from all competitors as, even if the fuel change doesn't affect you directly, the consultation process does.

 

The Sprint & Hillclimb Sub-Committee recently proposed a regulation change to restrict the fuels used in the Standard and Road car classes.

This was in response to concerns raised with the Sub-Committee, following the redefinition of pump fuel which changed some time ago to include 102 Octane FIA specification fuel, and noted the higher costs of these fuels in addition to the necessary engine changes.

The fuels permitted ongoing, will be "commercially available motor gasoline" with a maximum octane of 100 RON.
